Sybyl training registration

Training Updates

Every year we offer training in the use of the Sybyl program. We provide this training once a year. If interest is strong, we will also provide additional training sessions throughout the year. We have classes in Basic Sybyl instruction. On request we also provide moderate and advanced classes. Currently there are no training sessions planned, but if you and/or your group is interested, please fill out the Registration/Query Form below and a representative will contact you shortly.

Session description

Training sessions usually take three to four hours to complete and are held in the Information Commons West in the Hardin Library for Health Sciences (click here for a map to Hardin). The cost for basic training is free, but moderate and advanced courses may require a fee.

In the Basic session we will be teaching basic molecular modeling techniques such as building and editing molecules and peptides and manipulating sets, as well as some advanced techniques such as creating and editing Molcad surfaces, and constructing tube and ribbon displays. After this session, you should have a working understanding of the basic techniques to Sybyl.
