Grant Development Services

AT Research Services staff are available to consult on scientific and technical issues involved in the preparation of grant proposals. We often write supporting letters and review budgets and technical protocol descriptions in proposals. Some of the ways that we have contributed to grants in the past include:

Co-investigator

Our staff often serve as co-investigators and co-PI's on grants. These tend to be grants involving areas of technology that we have special interest, training and experience in.

Technical conultants

Our staff may be listed as technical consultants on grants where we have a specific technical task to perform such as software development, project management or data processing.

Resource Management

AT Research services manages several IT resources which may be listed, when appropriate, as resources available to outgoing proposals. Our staff also takes on the management of new resources, both in an administrative role and in a technical/scientific role depending on the situation. Examples of this sort of support include: Management of linux clusters, technical support for a 3D printer, and administration of distribution of software.

Resource Description

We have descriptions of our existing resources and are working to collect descriptions of all IT infrastructure and resources available to campus investigators. Visit our Resources page for more informaiton on this.
