Access Grid Video Conferencing Service

In collaboration with the CTS Media Studio, Research Services supports the Access Grid Video conferencing service. Access Grid is unique in that you can have multiple cameras displaying video and you can receive multiple video feeds. This means that you can have a video conference with 10, 20, 50 or more different sites at the same time. The technology was invented at Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago. As of 2005 there are well over 500 nodes around the world that allow for various forms of creative and academic collaborations.
