Research Computing Planning
Research computing architecture
This website provides information on campus-wide planning for research computing infrastructures. This activity is based on the Research Computing Architecture (RCA). RCA is a tool to help align reserach computing support with the research mission of the University. It also provides a mechanism for relating the research activities of our faculty with campus enterprise IT infrastructures such as the network and the help desk. The RCA also provides links to the advanced cyberinfrastructure program.
Activities
This page will provide links to various projects involved in developing research computing infrastructures. Some of these projects are being developed as part of ongoing research projects. Others are being developed in more of a strategic planning method, using needs assessments and community building activities to optimize research computing infrastructure development to the needs of campus investigators.
