Below is a list and brief description of ongoing Research Services projects. Click on the links for more detailed descriptions.

Grid Research and educatiOn group @ IoWa (GROW).

The Grid Research and educatiOn group @ IoWa (GROW) was initiated to integrate University of Iowa resources to conduct research, education, and outreach on Grid computing. The vision for GROW is to advance domain sciences and engineering by broadening and strengthening connections between the Grid computing community and the domain sciences and engineering communities.

Collaborative tOols for Research and iNstruction (CORN).

The CORN project was initiated to integrate University of Iowa resources for computer-based collaboration. The vision for CORN is to advance the awareness of existing capabilities and to coordinate the development of new technologies and services in a manner that best fits the needs of the University of Iowa.

Dimension SST 3-Dimenstional Printer.

The Dimension SST 3D printer uses the fused-deposition modeling (FDM) process to create physical objects with ABS plastic. Support structures are created as necessary and can later be dissolved away with the cleaning station.
