The IT Security Office is gearing up for its annual Information Security Day. This year’s event will cover (but isn’t limited to) database and web application security. Participants can attend individual sessions or the full day’s activities.

Information Security Day is Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Bijou Theater at the Iowa Memorial Union. Everyone on campus is invited to attend, as all students, faculty, and staff play a central role in safeguarding the University’s resources. That fact is captured in the theme of this year’s event: Sec…rity doesn’t work without “U”.
