Bioinformatics
AT Research services has several years of experience in support of bioinformatics technologies such as the Wisconsin Package and Molecular modeling. Recently, we have supported instruction through our development of the Bioinformatics portal (with Jan Fassler, Biosciences).
For Bioinformatics work, we often partner with others on campus including the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, the DNA Core Facility and individual faculty.
In the future we plan to continue to explore new bioinformatics capabilities with an eye toward leverage existing IT infrastructure to improve storage resources, networking applications and grid-based solutions.
One area of bioinformatics that we have some experitse in is visualization of data including molecular graphics and multi-variate visualization.
